These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between Pastel & Smudge CIC (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the person making the booking (“you”, “your”) for participation in our DIY Arts Award programme.
1. Booking & Payment
-
A booking form must be completed for each participant.
-
Full payment is due on receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Access to the DIY Arts Award pack and planning meeting will only be provided once payment is received.
2. Cooling-Off Period (Your Legal Right to Cancel)
-
You have the legal right to cancel your booking within 14 days of the invoice date, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you cancel within this time, we will refund any fees for services not yet delivered.

If your DIY Arts Award pack and planning meeting are provided in full before the cooling-off period ends, your right to cancel will no longer apply.

To cancel, email contact@pastelandsmudge.com with your name, booking details, and confirmation that you wish to cancel.
3. Cancellations After the Cooling-Off Period
-
If you cancel after the 14-day period:
-
7 days or more before your planned start date: refund for any elements not yet delivered.
-
Less than 7 days before your planned start date: no refund for that week, but future undelivered elements will be refunded.
-
-
If we cancel the programme for any reason, you will receive a full refund for any elements not delivered, or credit towards a future booking.
4. DIY Arts Award Packs & Materials
-
Your DIY Pack is for the named participant only and may not be shared or copied without permission.
-
Access to the Google Drive resources is for the duration of your award work and will be removed once assessment is complete.

All content remains the intellectual property of Pastel & Smudge CIC and Arts Award (Trinity College London).
5. Evidence & Portfolio
-
Participants are responsible for completing and submitting their portfolio by the agreed date.

We will provide guidance and feedback, but cannot guarantee a pass — moderation is carried out by Trinity College London.
-
Certificates are issued by Trinity College London and posted to the address provided once results are confirmed.
6. Accessibility & Support
